Preston Design & Technology LLC is a service-disabled veteran-owned reality capture and building documentation firm serving the Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse corridor of New York State. The firm provides drone mapping, 3D laser scanning, aerial thermography, and scan-to-BIM services to general contractors, construction managers, architects, and engineers. Deliverables include orthomosaics, digital surface models, topographic data, registered point clouds, and Revit models developed from scan data for existing conditions documentation, design coordination, and construction verification. The firm is led by a remote pilot with twenty-five years in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, including sixteen years in BIM and virtual design and construction and eight years of commercial UAS operation across more than one thousand missions. Credentials include FAA Part 107 certification and ITC Level I certification in sUAS thermography.
