Capabilities

IDCA's, LLC designs, engineers, and manufactures specialized electro-optical and infrared detector systems for defense, aerospace, scientific, weather sensing, and industrial applications. Capabilities span visible, NIR, SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR wavelengths and include Integrated Detector Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDDCAs), detector dewars, cryogenic packaging, FPA integration, testing, and characterization. Detector experience includes InGaAs, InSb, HgCdTe/MCT, QWIP, T2SL, and microbolometers, from single-element devices through 2.5K x 2K FPAs. Cooling expertise includes Joule-Thomson, liquid cryogen, TEC, and linear, rotary, and pulse-tube cryocoolers. Vacuum/hermetic capabilities include brazing, soldering, electrical feedthroughs, helium leak testing, RGA-monitored vacuum processing, bakeout and sealing. Capabilities include multidisciplinary engineering, cleanroom assembly, prototyping, build-to-print/low-volume production, thermal cycling, and MIL-standard vibration/shock testing.
