SoftOpt Engineering LLC dba Reverse Engineer Lab LLC licenses HECONOMICS, a consumer-facing and professional-facing educational web platform that enables senior homeowners to learn about FHA’s reverse mortgage called a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM). Reverse Engineer Lab developed and built HECONOMICS to support Traditional HECM and Purchase HECM. Licensees may include: Federal & State Agencies, Senior Advocate Organizations, and Housing Counseling Agencies. Reverse Engineer Lab possesses subject matter expertise in the following areas: HECM Policy and Regulations; HECM formulas to perform the calculations for Loan Origination, Servicing, and Regulation Z’s Total Annual Loan Cost (TALC).
