My qualifications include over ten years of museum conservation and collections management experience. I have a Master’s degree in museum conservation and collections care. Since 2010, I have provided collection care services as an independent contractor. Trained in museum studies terminology, methodology, ethics, and philosophy. Advanced knowledge of best practices and professional standards for collections care and management. Experience with collection inventory and cataloging, collection survey and assessment, object handling, collections move projects, preventive conservation, environmental monitoring, Integrated Pest Management, Emergency Preparedness, materials analysis, and conservation treatments on a variety of objects.
