ThermOptical Cooling specializes in precision femtosecond laser surface machining (nanomachining) and customized laser workstations for thermal management purposes. Our proprietary nanomachining technique uses ultrafast pulse laser systems to form and create micro-nanostructures on metallic & non-metallic surfaces to significantly increase their surface area and the optical characteristic of emissivity to values that accelerate cooling by 100% plus. This makes radiative heat transfer highly significant, keeping components cooler and extending life cycles many times and can also enhance surfaces to reduce drag. This process is packaged in a customized laser workstation that nanomachines components that complement, eliminate or augment conventional conduction & convection cooling methods involving fans or fluids.
