Sapiens is dedicated to identifying and expanding human performance capabilities in both the physical and cognitive realms. We aim to combine our understanding of the physiological, biomechanical, and mental stressors that may be encountered in any given situation, with an interdisciplinary, scientific approach to problem solving, creating solutions that support performance and mitigate risk. We work with scientists and engineers in a variety of specialties, such as neurobiology, mechanical engineering and materials engineering, among others, to ensure that the problem is thoroughly understood. When the problem requires a technological approach, we emphasize human-systems integration, ensuring that we understand how the technology affects human performance, in all its aspects.
