Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis and Administration from St. Louis University, Master of Forensic Science degree from The George Washington University, and Bachelor of Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Central Missouri. After a career as a US Army officer, entered higher education as a faculty member in the Department of Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego. He researches and publishes on a variety of topics, but central to his inquiries are leadership and ethics.
