Capabilities

On the Other Side, LLC is a cancer and survivorship support company led by Talaya Dendy, a Cancer Doula, Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and long-term cancer survivor. As a cancer doula, Talaya is a trained, non-medical companion who walks alongside and supports a person through the cancer experience, much like a birth doula supports someone through childbirth. We provide non-medical, whole-person cancer support that complements medical treatment for patients, survivors, caregivers, and the organizations that serve them, including federal and military health systems, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), hospitals, and employers.
