Claros Technologies introduced an eco-friendly process for nanocoating and nanocomposites called thermal Crescoating (coating by growth [-cresco]). With its proprietary technology platform, Claros is able to grow a variety of inorganic nanoparticles on various supports, including granular materials, polymers, fibers and textiles. Growing nanoparticles into the bulk and throughout the material of these media rather than conventional surface coating leads to unprecedented properties, stability, durability, multi-functionality and performance, enabling the next generation of sorbents for water and air remediation as well as functional polymers and smart textiles.
