Aerol LLC is a U.S. OEM of mission-critical casters, wheels, running gear, and ground support equipment (GSE) for aerospace and defense. Founded in 1940 as a Lockheed division, Aerol engineers and builds AS9100D-certified, MIL-M-8090-tested mobility systems rated to 48,000 lbs in Albion, MI. Past performance: C-17 towbar jacking casters for DLA Aviation (17 orders since 2020); CH-53K fuselage and sponson dolly running gear for NAWCAD Lakehurst and FRC East (subcontract); MQ-9 Reaper and MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone trailer running gear for AFLCMC, Wright-Patterson AFB; U-2 GSE for Lockheed Martin; submarine crane wheels for Electric Boat; jacking casters for Sandia National Laboratories. Aerol supports 800+ NSNs, and about 35 government specifications are written around its products. Products include jacking casters, aircraft dollies, munitions trailers, shipboard and spark-proof casters, and polyurethane wheels for flight line, depot, shipboard, and ordnance use.
