We leverage doctoral expertise in health services research and healthcare process optimization to develop quality measures that assess the performance of hospitals nationwide treating Medicare and Medicaid patients. Our process synthesizes current advances in peer-reviewed research (i.e., nonlinear relationships, data availability & quality, interactive effects, policies, social determinants of health, hospital specific effects, etc.) to derive actional insights. We approach every software development project by first deconstructing clinical processes leveraging doctoral expertise.
