Nuclear Energy Consultants (NEC), Inc., is an engineering, regulatory and technical support services firm established in June 1983 which has provided a broad spectrum of services to nearly all commercial U.S. domestic nuclear power plants, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Department of Energy (DOE), NSSS Manufacturers and various nuclear engineering companies and nuclear law firms. NEC has managed and participated in numerous phases of nuclear power plant development, design, licensing, construction, startup, operation, procedures, maintenance and quality assurance. Projects have encompassed standard plant operations, initial procedures development, procedure upgrades, EPUs, maintenance programs, plant upgrades, special inspections, new reactor development and a wide variety of other services.
