Tamr connects and integrates siloed enterprise data. Tamr uses machine learning and SME feedback to automatically unify datasets. Tamr automates entity resolution, record deduplication and classification of records. Tamr's technology is a unique workflow of machine learning and expert validation. These two capabilities complement each other seamlessly to ensure optimal results within the data preparation process. Tamr first applies machine learning algorithms to ingested data sources in order to recommend mapping of attributes and matching of records to produce a clean, unified dataset for analytics. Next, experts are asked sample questions about the data in order to train the system for automated processing. Experts do not need to be programmers or data scientists. Customers are using to: (1) improve decision making with more granular and complete data; (2) build compelling business metrics with more usable data; and (3) improve adoption of data usage through increased quality.
