Loop CO₂ is a Massachusetts-based materials company spun out from the University of Minnesota in 2022. We transform captured CO₂ into high-value polymers that enable circular, low-VOC, and climate-positive materials. Our proprietary monomers deliver tunable performance, drop-in compatibility, and unique features such as debonding, de-inking, biodegradability, and chemical recyclability. Our core offerings include low-VOC acrylics for coatings and inks, BPA-free epoxies, recyclable and biodegradable polyesters, and removable adhesives for EV batteries and electronics. We also provide UV-curable, solvent-free acrylate replacements that debond in laminates and enable high-purity rPE/rPP recycling. By aligning with global regulations on VOCs and BPA, and offering true Scope 3 emission reductions, Loop CO₂ helps brands in packaging, textiles, mobility, and industrial coatings meet their circular economy and climate neutrality goals—without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
