Capabilities

As manufacturers of Electron Beam Welders and Vacuum Furnaces, at Cambridge Vacuum Engineering (CVE) we design, build and support process solutions. With more than 60 years’ experience, we manufacture these systems at our Headquarters located in Cambridge UK. Our EB equipment ranges from 50 – 200kV with beam powers up to 100kW. We’ve gone from strength to strength and in 2007 the Wentgate Dynaweld name was renamed, and is now known as CVE Inc. In 2017 we announced a major technical breakthrough with the commercialization of EBflow, thick section welding (6”) in a single pass for the defense, renewable power, nuclear and PV industry sectors.
