Brigadier General John B. Dunlap III received a BA in History from Louisiana State University in 1986 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in 1989. He graduated from the Judge Advocate General’s School, Army, in 1989. He is a 2003 graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and was awarded a Masters of Strategic Studies by the U.S. Army War College in 2012.
