BIS engineers and manufactures Dynamic Positioning Systems, Vessel Monitoring and Management Systems, Steering Systems, Marine Generator Control & Power Distribution Switchgear, Motor Controls, Secondary LV Distribution, Shaft Tachs, Navigation Light Panels and distributes a full line of marine communication and navigation products. These operations are conducted by BIS and its subsidiaries, Sentinel Control Technologies, South Coast Electric (SCE) and The Marine Training Institute (TMTI), a maritime training school.
