Bartlett Engineering performs failure analysis of all types of equipment and design of industrial mechanized devices. Our work performing failure analysis makes us better equipment designers, and our work as equipment designers makes us better at failure analysis. We are capable of fabricating the custom equipment that we design, and we have developed a 'micro manufacturing method' for controlling the production of short run custom equipment. The equipment that we have designed typically involves pressurized components, motorized, hydraulic control, custom designed shaft seals, steam process design, mixing and separation. The components for which we expertise in failure analysis are engines, gearboxes, wire ropes and lifting equipment, fasteners, bearings(roller and plain), welded structures, welded pressure tanks and piping. As part of our failure analysis we also perform industrial accident reconstruction using photogrammetry and computer generated 3D models.
