Capabilities

Independently conducts fire alarm ITM annually across administrative, industrial, warehouse, laboratory, munitions storage, and chemical demilitarization facilities at a DoD installation — without supervision, often leading a crew of three. Protocol: pre-test FACP review; pull station activation; occupant response verification; system silence/reset; walkthrough verifying initiating devices, notification appliances, waterflow/tamper status, sprinkler operation, and elevator recall. Investigated ~20 duct detector activations; performed ductwork disassembly, cleaning, and restoration. Operates Kingfisher, Edwards EST3, FCI Fireworks, and Pyrotech UHS Deluge panels in ITM and emergency contexts. Deficiencies reported: occluded detectors, unauthorized appliances, blocked egress, inadequate fire barriers, improperly mounted extinguishers. Manages Pre-Fire Planning program for 267 base facilities — documenting FACP types, devices, appliances, special hazards, and required fire flow.
