Leveraging 40 years of strategic partnership with the DoD and DLA, KBI’s BoatStartPlus™ utilizes a proprietary supercapacitor core to ensure fail-safe ignition regardless of primary battery state. Unlike traditional lead-acid or chemical-based starting systems, our chemical-free technology offers unmatched operational reliability with a 15–20 year service life and over 1,000,000 charge/discharge cycles. Purpose-built for extreme maritime environments, our systems are IP67-rated and fully operational from -40°F to 149°F | Storage -76°F to 158°F. Our core technology is field-validated through NSN 6130-01-714-2899 and currently deployed across DLA, US Army, and high-tempo commercial maritime fleets.
