Edda Rodriguez uses her extensive training and experience as a yoga teacher in the medical setting: • To reduce patients’ stress and induce deep relaxation using yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation techniques accessible to all patients • To help patients learn techniques to manage their moods and symptoms of some psychiatric disorders • To help patients with gentle but vital yoga postures to relax and reduce stress levels • To introduce yoga, breathing techniques, meditation and other stress-reducing techniques as an assist to psychotherapy • To help patients learn techniques for chronic pain management • To increase patients’ knowledge of their own bodies and breathing, and teach them how to increase their Well Being
