The Braid and Beauty Bar LLC provides hands-on hair care and self-care workshops designed to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Our programming combines foundational hair care instruction, wellness habits, and engaging beauty activities. Led by Founder and Licensed Hair Braider, Ralleda Hayes who has served over 100 clients ranging in age from 2 to 93, including youth in community-based settings and elderly individuals in care facilities and hospitals. Our programs deliver structured, impactful experiences that promote practical skill development, confidence, and inclusivity. The Braid and Beauty Bar offers on-site services tailored to each organization's needs. We specialize in serving disadvantaged youth and adults through partnerships with schools, park districts, community organizations, care facilities, and social service agencies. Our beginner-friendly workshops ensure accessibility for individuals with little to no prior experience.
