North Wind Environmental Consulting Services (NWECS) provides professional, scientific, and technical expertise including biological, environmental, historical, and cultural resource consulting services. NWECS provides NEPA compliance, Geographical Information Systems, biological and cultural monitoring, wetland delineations and riparian studies, regulatory compliance, and architectural historian services. NWECS is part of a family of companies with common ownership under Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). The North Wind family is managed by North Wind Group, a CIRI government contract holding entity. Under North Wind Group, NWECS operates under a proven corporate infrastructure that has been in place for over 20 years, a low EMR rating, and a DCAA-approved accounting system.
