Originally established as an overhead powerline contractor, A&W developed into a full?line electrical contractor with the growth of its commercial & industrial wiring division. Most recently, acquisition of excavation & piping expertise has given A&W the water, sewer, storm drain & irrigation capabilities to become a complete utility contractor. Our powerline division performs medium to extra high voltage installation and maintenance projects including overhead & underground distribution & transmission lines, power substations, vertical boring, caisson foundation installations and communication tower erection. Our commercial wiring division performs low voltage wiring for commercial, industrial and institutional clientele. The excavation & wet utilities division performs pipeline maintenance support, corrosion control, pipe bursting, wet utility installation, distribution and rehabilitation.
