Frew Development Group, LLC (“FDG”) is the developer of Westdale Mall, formerly a 900,000sf enclosed regional shopping center on 72+ acres in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Westdale opened in 1979 but, by 2012, the property suffered from deferred maintenance, deteriorating facility and site infrastructure, high tenant vacancy and frequent owner turnover. Since taking control of the property in 2013, FDG has demolished nearly 600,000sf of buildings, created three stand-alone structures (two are leased, one to long-term tenant JCPenney and one to new tenants Ross Dress for Less and Shoe Dept. Encore), replaced infrastructure, paved a 5,800 lineal foot ring road and interior drive aisles, and created 32 development pads. New retailers include Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Shoe Dept Encore, Chick-fil-A, US Bank, Noodles & Company, Chipotle, Wingstop, AT&T Wireless, Great Clips and Q Nails and Spa, Freddy’s Frozen Custard + Steakburgers,
