Masa Fujioka & Associates (MFA) is a Hawaii-based civil engineering firm with over 30 years of experience in providing geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting services for the private sector and Federal, State, City and County government agencies. Our team of multidisciplinary engineers, geologists, environmental specialists, and soil technicians hold expertise in the unique climatic, geographic, cultural, and geologic factors specific to projects in Hawaii, Japan, Guam, and the Pacific Region. We explore subsurface soil and rock conditions to design solutions and strategies for building foundations, slopes, retaining structures, pavement, landfills and other ground and wall systems. MFA proudly conducts physical soil and aggregate analyses in our in-house geotechnical soils laboratory, which is accredited by AASHTO and validated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
