Wherible designs and markets senior safety solutions to individuals and senior care organizations. Wherible generates subscription revenue through the reselling of cellular data and cloud services. The sensors within the Wherible device give the ability to establish the baseline gait of the device wearer. In sampling walking characteristics on a daily basis we upload gait data via cellular to our cloud analytics. We then report back to the device changes in baseline and, if necessary, dynamically instruct the device to change its algorithm to capture more specified data in areas of concern. The live over the air change to the device’ algorithm is proprietary as it uses our specialized analytics and gateway. The ability to provide this firmware instruction set via cellular is an important differentiation vs. other systems as seniors often have warning signs while out of the home or traveling. Our deep expertise in cellular also gives us design advantages.
