SOTER has substantial expertise in emergency response to outbreaks of infectious disease and public health emergencies. As such, SOTER has provided support to U.S. and various foreign governments in response to infectious disease outbreaks through laboratory inspection and assessments, on-site and remote trainings, program development, policies and procedures development for safe transport, handling and storage of high-priority pathogens. Some of the trainings include but are not limited to: risk management; biosafety & biosecurity best practices; standard operating procedures; laboratory design review.
