Capabilities

We have over 40 years of combined experience in the field of structural engineering. SI currently holds licensure in 21 states and is certified by both SECB and BIECI. We hold an NCEES certification to allow us to obtain licensure in 29 additional states. SI is proud to have a LEED® Accredited Professional on staff as well as a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida. We are members of NSPE, ACI, ICRI, AEI, FSEA, FES, a Fellow Member of ASCE and a Charter Member of the Institute of Structural Engineers. SI has also developed a software program to assist in calculating the wind pressures on components and cladding in accordance with both the Florida Building Code and International Building Code.
