Phibian Gear, Inc. designs, manufactures, and supports SALT AMS—the Sea Air Land Transition Amphibious Mobility System—a patented, compact amphibious mobility system for military, public-safety, search-and-rescue, maritime, aviation, and professional dive operations. SALT AMS remains with the operator across land, air, and water; retracts underfoot for walking, running, climbing, vehicle movement, parachute and air-to-water insertion, and confined-space transit; and deploys when in-water propulsion is required. The system reduces the size, weight, stowage, transition-time, and fin-availability penalties of traditional swim fins. Phibian Gear provides product sales, demonstrations, operational evaluations, operator familiarization, mission-specific integration, and RDT&E support. The company is a U.S. manufacturer supporting federal, state, local, allied, and commercial customers.
