We specialize in developing micro-plasma based ion sources used for chemical trace detection in advanced analytical instruments. Many traditional chemical trace detection instruments utilize radioactive ion sources, such as Ni-63, which require compliance to stringent government regulations, increasing cost of use and raising safety concerns in handling. Our plasma based ion source is non-radioactive, thereby eliminating government oversight and eliminates handling safety concerns without sacrificing performance.
