Lenstec, Inc. distributes intraocular lenses (IOL) for cataract surgery to hospitals and clinics in the USA. The IOLs are made of hydrophilic acrylic. The precision series are manufactured above the Industry Standard. Industry Standard allows ±0.4 variance tolerance from diopter size to diopter size, whereas Lenstec's variance tolerance is ±0.11. Lenstec IOLs range in 1/4 diopter sizes from +15.0 to +25.0; 1/2 diopter sizes from +10.0 to +30.0, and whole diopter sizes from +5.0 to +36.0. Lens injection systems can also be purchased.
