Healthy Behaviors (HB) is a recently established company best described as a research implementation hub, providing operational support and analytic and coordination infrastructure to studies involving behavior changes. It was founded by Drs. Cotter and Davison whose scientific work points to the benefits of strict adherence to guideline-driven therapies utilizing existing medications (rather than relying on novel ones), strengthened by close patient monitoring. In view of those insights, they found HB to test and then offer novel non-pharmacological strategies to support such adherence to existing therapies, providing subject matter expertise (cardiology, data analytics) and coordination (eg, training, committee work).
