GordonDC is a woman-led, Washington, DC-based Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) and small business, as well as an affiliate of Virginia-based Gordon. Established in 1976, Gordon began supporting Federal clients in the Washington, DC region in the mid-1990s. In 2013, the firm made a strategic decision to expand its presence in the District by pursuing private, public, and Federal projects, with the goal of broadening its experience and strengthening its footprint in the nation’s capital. By 2016, Gordon had built a strong network of DC-based relationships and project opportunities, leading to the launch of GordonDC under the leadership of Jessie Ponce de Leon. Officially established in 2017, GordonDC has grown into a leading site civil engineering firm, providing comprehensive design, permitting, and consulting services.
