ARKTX, PC is a full-service Interior Architectural firm located in Washington, DC. Established in 1987, our professional staff includes architectural and interior design professionals, supported by administrative and in-house permit expediting personnel. Angela Platenberg, CIDQ, is our Principal of Interior Design, and Douglas Friddle AIA, NCARB, is our firm founder/President and Principal of Architectural Design. Over the past 38-plus years we have designed and managed thousands of interior design and renovation projects in the greater Metropolitan Washington, DC Area, as well as technically complex projects across the United States. The largest portion of the firm’s work consists of commercial interior office projects, and includes corporate, trade association, non-profit and government-agency offices, retail, healthcare, radio/tv broadcast/mission-critical facilities, and accredited and unaccredited secure spaces.
