Capabilities

1. Develop a successful model for online and technology-enabled learning environments (including Course/instructional design, online and blended course development, quality assurance using proven standards, etc) 2. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations on distance education (e.g., state authorization, Section 508 compliance and regular and effective contact. (Title 5, 55200, 55204), licensing and copyright laws, etc.) through reviewing, developing, and implementing the District/School policy on distance education. 3. Manage the program review, planning, and assessment of Distance Education services and training (Including instructional delivery systems, course development software, support services for faculty and students) 4. Design and deliver professional development and online training opportunities for faculty, including, but not limited to, online faculty mentors, tutoring, supplemental instruction and other learning support and student support services.
