Rocky Mountain Tree-Ring Research, Inc, is organized exclusively for educational and scientific purposes, including: To engage in the application and instruction of dendrochronological method and theory; to engage in, carry on, and conduct research, experiments, investigations, analyses and studies in forest dynamics, climate reconstructions, geological and hydrological processes, restoration ecology, archaeological dating, and all other aspects of scientific discourse that make use of, reference to or derive data from dendrochronological methods and theories; to provide instruction in and promote knowledge of dendrochronological scientific method and theory; and to disseminate the results from dendrochronological research, experiments, investigations, analyses and studies through government agencies, scientific publications, conferences, symposia, books, reports, journal articles, newspapers, magazines, news media and through oral presentations.
