Our Liquefied Gas Electrolyte (LGE) chemistry can be used in energy storage devices including; rechargeable batteries (Li-ion), primary batteries, and ultracapacitors. South 8 Technologies also performs research and engineering services for mechanical design and manufacture of devices using LGEs. Our patented technology allows for a substantial increase energy and as mentioned an exceptionally wide operating temperature from -80 ?C to +60?C. Additionally, thermal runaway issues prevalent in current Li-ion batteries are eliminated with LGE.
