The Prenostik My Learning Coach (MLC) is an AI-powered learning coach software application. It serves as a copilot and a bridge to in-person assistance referrals throughout a student’s educational journey. It delivers real-time, actionable guidance to improve higher education student engagement, graduation rates, and future workforce development in the age of AI. Using regular student State of Mind (SOM) check-ins and activities data from sources such as the Learning Management System (LMS), MLC can first detect each student’s unique learning motivation and behavior challenges, such as a lack of a sense of belonging and procrastination, in the context of their academic and non-academic life constraints. Then, the MLC’s AI chatbot provides personalized interventions, such as automated nudges and proactive referrals to in-person support as needed. Coaching students to learn how to learn more effectively fosters a growth mindset, resilience, and agency for lifelong career success.
