Capabilities

Countervail Engineering is a small business providing systems engineering and integration (SE/SI) for transportation and critical infrastructure programs. Our services include interface and requirements management, verification and validation, test and commissioning support, and mission-critical communications design (LMR, SCADA, public address, passenger information, and security systems). We also provide quality and configuration management, construction-phase support, and expert witness services for systems disputes on design-build programs. Our staff hold INCOSE CSEP, PE, RCDD, and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor credentials. Since 2019 we have supported BART CBTC ($1B), the LAX Automated People Mover ($2B), the Amtrak Penn Station Expansion ($7.3B), SFMTA's Next Generation Customer Information System, and five WMATA design-build and CMAR programs, serving both owners and contractors.
