Capabilities

As owner of C&D Land Care LLC, Chelsea Kenyon and manager, David Kerhoulas bring a combined background of entrepreneurial drive, mechanical expertise, and boots-on-the-ground experience in fire prevention and land management. The 2018 Camp Fire tragedy became a turning point, leading us to recognize the critical need for defensible space and vegetation management services in Butte County and surrounding high-risk fire zones. Built out of the ashes, C&D Land Care came from the ground up with no outside investment—just a commitment to hard work, community protection, and self-reliance. David holds a Red Card (Incident Qualification Card) and has completed wildland fire and incident response training. Chelsea brings business planning, grant writing, and strategic development skills to the table. We’ve successfully secured private clients, collaborated with fire councils, and are actively expanding our capabilities through equipment acquisition and hopeful future grant funding.
