A former Division I College Athlete for LSU he receivied his nutritionist certification from San Francisco College under the guidance of Lisa Yamashiro, MEd, RD. He studied a myriad of nutritional aspects including but not limited to clinical nutrition, food service, food science, and nutritional biochemistry. While attaining his certification he took part in many nutritional research studies and projects.
