Capabilities

The team at Pro-Tech Engineering has extensive experience in undertaking substation planning and design (up to 500 kV), power system studies, transmission line and cable route development, distribution design, and protection coordination and grounding design for systems ranging from high voltage transmission systems to sub-transmission and distribution (4kV up to 35kV). This includes medium and low voltage plant distribution (13.8 kV to 120 VAC). Our Power plant design expertise includes 13.8 KV distribution down to 48 VDC Battery Power. Expertise in organizing electrical plants to better serve operators including developing MCC and panel loading “tools” in addition to 480 V cable sizing and protection. Also, Pro-Tech has expertise in working with plant operators to maximize energy savings.
