Description
The Newcastle and Buffalo Conifer Removal project will remove conifer tree encroachment on 5,018 acres within the Newcastle and Buffalo Field Offices. This project will reduce wildfire risk across three discrete project areas: Buck Draw in Newcastle Field Office (2,844 acres) and North Buffalo Creek (1,556 acres) and North Windmill Creek (618 acres) in the Buffalo Field Office.
