FY26 Cultural Resource Surveys for Active Management

Monongahela National Forest is currently submitting a contract request for cultural resource surveys to meet statutory requirements in support of 10000 acres of active management projects throughout the forest. These inventories ensure compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act. This project will contribute toward the agencys goal of increased timber production and alignment with the Monongahela National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan.
