Innovasea Receivers

Innovasea Receivers Planned acquisition of Innovasea acoustic receivers to support invasive carp deterrent research and aquatic species monitoring. This request supports the administration priority of protecting the Great Lakes from invasive carp by enabling long-term tracking of fish movement and behavior in response to deterrent technologies.Innovasea VR2Tx or equivalent acoustic receivers for deployment in aquatic telemetry arrays to detect and log signals from tagged invasive carp and native species.These receivers are part of an integrated IT system that includes hydrophones; data loggers; and telemetry software. They collect and store acoustic detection data; which is later downloaded and integrated into geospatial and ecological databases for analysis and reporting.
