Description
In Longmire, the two 480 volt, 350 kilowatt three phase generators supply emergency power throughout the area when commercial power is disrupted. The generators are currently manually engaged. This project will automate the transfer between commercial and generator power. The generators, which are over 35 years old, will be replaced; the bank of three live-front transformers will be replaced by one dead-front unit, and the manual transfer panel will be replaced by an automated one.
