Description
This project will replace the 2,423 SF cedar shingle roof of the Historic Simmons Gap Old Mission House. The cedar shake material has a lifecycle of 15 years. A new composite fire resistant material will be used that mimics the historic aesthetic while decreasing fire hazards and increasing lifespan. Work will include removing the current roof system and disposing of it, making repairs to the structural supports of the roof and any other roof components and replacing with new roof shingles.
