Description
This project will rehabilitate two historic stone masonry guide wall barriers totaling 1,300 lineal feet to repair deficiencies identified in a 2011 Federal Highways Barrier Inspection Report. The barriers are adjacent to Skyline Drive, a National Historic Landmark, located in Shenandoah National Park. The actual construction will likely start in early spring 2027 and finish by June 2027. These walls are detrimental to decreasing severity of vehicular accidents.
