Description
The Information Technology Lab (iT Lab) consists of various hardware and software utilized to support its customers, developers, testers, researchers, evaluators, engineers and analysts. This environment is designed to be a replica of the CBP production environment, and its use is an integral component of CBP’s risk mitigation strategy; generally, all systems and technologies are engineered and tested in this environment to mitigate risks that may be introduced during production deployment. The objective of this acquisition is to modernize and scale the iT Lab’s infrastructure. This expansion is critical to accommodate the increasing volume of requests for AI resources and to ensure operational continuity for new projects resulting from ongoing laboratory consolidation efforts. This acquisition will allow the iT Lab to expand capabilities to provide a more robust test environment with the ability to expand, add, and scale the resources as needed without the need to purchase new servers allowing a tremendous cost savings while improving delivery times. Acquisition Strategy: NASA SEWP V: Small Business category
